They told my daughter that she needed a brake fluid flush, so we did it. After their service department did the brake fluid flush and also inspected my daughter's car with a 100% pass. Me daughter got into a serious car accident do to "you guessed it, BRAKE FAILURE" the Police report wrote it up as no ones fault because they saw it was a brake failuer. I purchased in March 2020. I never received a copy of my sales paperwork. They messed up my tag, refused to reimburse all the costs associated with that, and still have refused to send all of my financing paperwork over a year later. Not to mention, I was promised rebates to bring my trade down (7k negative equity), so I put down 5k cash. This is my 4th Mazda from Independence Mazda. all 4 times my sales person was George. I have to say that I had a comfort level with Him. It was not like other car dealerships was you feel pressured. It was relaxes and He always worked hard to benefit me the customer. For those who are looking to buy a car I highly recommend George. As for the dealership it was a very comfortable setting and the coffee is great.

Mr. Chris Martin (General Sales Manager) didn’t let his sales team know that the Mazda 3 on 10/08/19 that was already sold. He came in test drive the car and done paperwork on tag transfer when he told the salesman it was already sold he was flabbergasted. I expected an apology but he said “You don’t know me”. How can a high position person told to a customer that way??? Mr. Martin needs retrained on customer skills.

I only give 2 stars because our salesperson, Tommy, was friendly and knowledgeable. I asked for the sale price and financing rate and they wouldn't tell me - they just wanted to know how much I needed the payment to be. Eventually, here comes Vince, the sales manager, to seal the deal. I explained that I was told there was room for negotiation on the price before I drove 1 1/2 hours each way to see the car. Purchased a used car. Kaitlyn was attentive but not too much so. She was helpful and answered all of our questions. They were not high pressure. Very pleased with the car. I wish I could recall the name of her manager as he was good too. Only thing I would change would be to make the whole process faster after we had agreed to terms.

Frank helped get me into the car of my dreams--a 2017 Mazda CX-9 Signature. It went few bucks more than my budget. Would have been nice if Frank reduced the price that what i expected. After visiting all of the Mazda dealerships in the Charlotte area, here is what I know to be true: Independence Mazda was the most friendly, organized and the most straightforward when coming to final price.
Kaitlyn was extremely knowledgeable about the car and went over the car in full, covering safety, features and some of the story be hind the new 2017 design. In January 2017 the car was involved in a total loss accident . After the insurance company paid off their cost of the car there was still a balance of 2700.00 . Buying a car is probably my most hated task in life, but this dealership made the experience painless and I did not think that was possible. David Thompson was very informative, and very patient with me after the sale as well as he showed me how to work all the electronics. I had done my research, knew what I wanted, and basically stated what needed to happen. They met my demands with no haggling! How refreshing!! I know from past experience the service department is fantastic.....and now I would say the sales department is too.
